Ribbonwood Chardonnay 2016 Marlborough

Very attractive bouquet with a mix of subtlety, some bottle integration and core of ripe fruit. Wood spice and cashew, apple and white peach, pear and white flowers. Dry, fruity, fleshy and weighty on the palate. A firm youthful beginning that eases into a more rounded texture as the wine opens up in glass. Flavours of fresh white fleshed fruits, plenty of acidity, some softer wood spice moments and cashew. Nice finish. Drink now and through 2024. 91 Points
