Burn Cottage Riesling Gruner Veltliner 2016 Central Otago

Enticing almost beguiling aromas of sweet wild flowers, white fleshed tree fruit and citrus, a light wild dried herb quality and underpinning core of honeysuckle, lees and whisper of minerality. Dry style on the palate with flavours more Riesling-like today - apples, lemons and flowers; the Gruner showing off a little vegetal note with some radish and white pepper - especially on the finish. Great acid line, long finish, building complexity. Balanced and well-made. Drink now and through 2026.
