Rock Ferry The Corners Vineyard Gruner Veltliner 2016 Marlborough

Fruity bouquet with aromas of apple, pear and sweet radish. A little oxidation showing with a light bruised apple note. With some white pepper and pineapple tones there is a gentle complexity as well. All these ideas show through on the palate which presents a dry wine with medium+ acidity. Classic GV tension and vegetal flavours show nicely as does the white pepper and fruits. Drink now and through 2020. Food recommended.
