Ostler Lakeside Riesling 2016 Waitaki Valley

Fabulous bouquet with a core of flinty wet stone minerality, apples, lemons and flowers plus sweet mandarin. Dry on the palate with abundant acidity adding in a layer of crispness and highlighting the citrus flavours of Meyer lemon. Crunchy red apple, white peach and quince flavours follow. A whisper of barley sugar and orange lead into a honeysuckle flick on the finish. Fabulous balance and finesse. Drink now and through 2026.
