Varietal, savoury and engaging bouquet with dried herb laced red berry fruits centering on red cherry and red plum, some cranberry and wood spice combinations; a young and vibrant package of aromas. On the palate – tense, youthful, savoury then fruity – finishing dry. Flavours reflect the nose with red cherry and plum laced with dried herb/wild thyme suggestions; generous use of oak; fine to moderate tannins, medium+ acidity, coming into balance slowly. Drink now if decanted though best drinking from late 2018 through 2028.
