An excellent bouquet filled with scents of site and ripe red berry fruits, a mineral earth quality suggesting baking spices and bark, some smoky wood and baking spices of clove and vanilla. Youthful, complex and enticing. On the palate and equally enticing wine with core flavours of black cherry and dark-skinned-plums, black currant and earth-smoke of dark soils and stone. The wood smoke and baking spice qualities push through the palate contrasted by the acid line and grab of tannins - in abundance. Well made, lengthy, new and vibrant with best drinking from late 2026, even sometime in 2027 through 2034+.
