Neudorf 'Home Block' Moutere Chardonnay 2025, Nelson

Fabulous bouquet of purity, freshness, a whisper of flinty playfulness then pure fruit scents of white fleshed stone fruits, pomaceous and a lick of tropical baked pineapple framing quietly spoken aromas of barrel. Complex, youthful and engaging. On the palate a delicious wine, taut and dry, youthful with palate squeeze of lees and barrel, acidity and creaminess followed by fruit flavours of white peach and apple, sweet green pear and a hint of pineapple. Very lengthy finish, complex and classic. Best drinking from 2028 through 2034. Longer if stored well.
