An excellent wine with a core bouquet of Central Otago and Bendigo with scents dried raspberry and wild dried herbs, a savoury quality then dark cherry and wind blown soil drift. The voice of oak with barrel smoke and spices are harmonious with the fruit building complexity as the wine opens out in glass. A dry wine touches the palate with a rush of red berry fruit flavours reflecting the bouquet. A youthful gentle reductive quality is highlighted by the acid line, a abundance of polished tannins then savoury dried herb and barrel qualities all surge onto the palate simultaneously. Well made, youthful and taut with best drinking from 2029 through 2035+. A wine for the cellar or select cuisine.
