A lovely bouquet of complexity and intrigue from scents of mineral and stone, baking spices and wild dried herbs with a classic Central Otago thyme and sage drift. Developing nicely with a fresh and gently dried red berry fruits core suggesting black cherry and raspberry, clove and bacon-oak ideas. Dry, taut, youthful and poised with firm tannins and medium+ acid line framing fresh and drying berries, wood smoke and dried herb savoury quality. Delicious overall and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2033+.
