Stoneleigh 'Rapaura Series' Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2024, Marlborough

Aromas and flavours of woodsmoke and baking spices, baked tree and stone fruits, a layer of citrus and a leesy complexity. Enticing and new. A dry wine touches the palate with layers of spice and acidity then peach and nectarine, some grapefruit and apple wrapped in a weight almost cream mouthfeel. Balanced and well made with a decent finish and a flick of salinity.
