What a great bouquet - with detail, richness and power. Aromas of fresh yellow peach and apple, nectarine and barrel smoke, spices and roasted Brazil-nut. Aromas continue with apricot and clay, white flowers and a dense leesy quality. On the palate a full-bodied wine with a myriad flavours of wood spice and smoke, earth and stone fruits, baked apple and grapefruit. Lees, tannins and acidity deliver an abundance of mouthfeel adding to the length and complexity. A delicious wine that is both, powerful, charming, balanced and still developing. Best from 2026 through 2034.
