Clouston & Co Pinot Noir 2024, Marlborough

An excellent wine with a bouquet of urgency and power, varietal impacts and with a core of earth & wood smoke. Dark cherry and boysenberry, Doris plum skin and toasty oak ideas with a clove and vanilla wood smoke suggestion. Dry with an abundance of polished tannins and backbone of acidity, a complete wine with a plush mouthfeel and lengthy finish. Balanced and well made with best drinking from mid to late 2027 through 2034.
