Forrest Pinot Noir 2022, Marlborough

A lovely example with aromas and flavours of red plums and cherries, a layers of silty stone mineral earth and fermenting roses then baking spice and French oak wood spices. A lighter weighted-wine that presents dry and fruity, flavours of red berries and plums, strawberry and layers of spice from earth and wood. Balanced and well made, plenty of complexity especially when the wine becomes more ambient and opens out in glass. Best drinking from 2026 through 2032.+.
