Collaboration Wines 'Impression' Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc 2023, Hawke's Bay

Aromas and flavours of light and dark plums, fresh tobacco and dried herbs, then blackberry and a touch of violet. A dry wine , quite taut and youthful still with a decent palate squeeze driven by the acid line and polished tannin frame. A dry wine with flavours of red berries and plums leading to a textured mouthfeel and salivating finish. A wine for the cellar still with best drinking from late 2027 through 2032+.
