Ripe and concentrated, a powerful bouquet with a varietal core of dark berries and roasted Doris plums, dark spices and wood smoke, deep earthy scents of clay and dried earth. Dry and equally concentrated as the wine touches the palate with core flavours of red berries and spices to reflect the bouquet. An abundance of firm tannins and backbone of acidity. A wine that is reaching into its window, a plateau of energy and stle that should remain in place for a few years to come. Length and well made, layers of texture, spice, wood smoke and fruit. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2036.
