An excellent wine bouquet with core power and energy driven by the ripeness of fruit, pinosity core and layers of spice and mineral. A wine with a sense of site and style, black cherry and boysenberry, some blackcurrant and wood spice layers suggesting vanilla and clove then layers of floral highlight from dark rose to violets. An abundance of polished tannins and an acid line that carries flavour and accentuates the textures. Delicious, well made and lengthy. Best from day of purchase through 2033.
