Brightwater Gravels Pinot Noir 2023, Nelson

Great to be able to taste this wine again, last time was June 2024. Time settling in bottle integrating and maturing has shown the proclivity for NZ Pinot Noir to age well whilst holding onto it core integrity of fruit purity and power. Flavours on the palate are as youthful as they were two years back with a core of red berry fruits and cherry, the acid line has begin to slip into a rhythm with the tannins and core fruit flavours. Well made with decent length and still developing, a lovely wine with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
