Blackenbrook Family Reserve Pinot Noir 2024, Nelson

Great colour and excellent varietal drive of pinosity and youth, freshness and power. Flavours of fresh red berry fruits from boysenberry to plum then raspberry. As the flavours warm and unfold on the palate the complexity from the use of some new barrel begins to show with a sweet nut, clove and vanillin layer. These add complexity as does the backbone of acidity classic to this producer. Well made, youthful, bright and perfectly weighted. Best drinking from 2028 through 2036+.
