Huia Chardonnay 2024, Marlborough

Soon to be released this wine has a very bright, fresh and varietal core of citrus and white fleshed pomaceous fruits, a definitive seam of minerality and leesy layers showcasing the youth and power of this wine and vintage. Flavours of pomaceous and citrus fruit then lees little to no oak apparent in such a vibrant and quivering core. Well made, a wine needing cellar time to settle and integrate more with best drinking from late 2027 through 2032+. Would love to try this wine again in a year.
