A lovely example with a core of fruit purity, flavours of plums and black cherry laced with some baking spice ideas - vanilla and dusty clove, a soft dried herb quality and a leesy wood smoke complexity. Dry, balanced and well made with an abundance of fine tannins, some dusty chalky texture, plenty of acid for freshness and mouthfeel with core fruit flavours repeating. A wine of freshness, texture and pinosity. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2032+.
