Varietal and focused bouquet of red apple skin and raspberry, there’s a fine savoury quality and sense of site with a silty dusty clay soil suggestion then a surge of red berry fruits suggestion including blackcurrant then baking spices of vanilla and clove. Crisp and textured as the wine touches the palate with plenty of fine tannins and youthful topline of acidity. Well made, youthful still and lengthy with best drinking from 2028 through 2036.
