Burn Cottage Riesling/Grüner Veltliner 2022, Central Otago

Fabulous bouquet and palate, a wine of intrigue and complexity, purity and style. Aromas and flavours of apple and lemon, dried white spice and pineapple with a seam of dried herb and cold-stone minerality and saline theme through the acid line. There’s a quince and lime suggestion as the wine opens out on the palate. Dry and lengthy, delicious and fresh with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030. A wine I find best enjoyed at cellar temperature - cool, not cold.
