Yin's Wines Syrah 2025, Bridge Pa, Hawke's Bay

A vibrant ruby and magenta core with a pink rim leads to a bouquet of fresh, ripe and fleshy blackcurrant and smoked plum, boysenberry and raspberry. There’s a violet floral quality with scents of spice and mineral, a gentle wood sweetness quality and earthy frame. On the palate a dry wine with core flavours matching the bouquet, there’s a silky almost creamy mouthfeel when the wine first touches. Tannins are fine and balanced, acidity delivers the drive and power along with the fruit into a balanced and lengthy finish. While this wine can be enjoyed from today, perhaps with food, it will be best enjoyed from late 2027 through 2031+.
