Barton & Guestier 'Saint Louis' Chablis 2025, France

Great colour of lemon and yellow hues leading to a bouquet of white flowers and fine lees, elderflower and and chamomile, lemon and apple. Crisp, taut and dry with some phenolics adding mouthfeel preceding the flavours of pomaceous and citrus fruit, floral seams and a fine lees quality. As the wine becomes more ambient the phenolics mostly melt away. Dry, taut and delicious with best drinking from day of purchase through 2031.
