Ripe and pure fruited bouquet with scents of green pear and quince, there’s a leesy barrel spice and gentle barrel-ferment quality adding complexity and vigor. A dry wine touches the palate with a mix of spice and mineral qualities then flavours pears and apple, quince and and earth-smoke of silty-clay ideas. Balanced and well made in a medium+ weighted expression, some spice and lots of texture. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
