Mumm Blanc de Noirs NV, Methode Traditionnelle, Central Otago
A very nice wine. The bouquet delivers scents of a leesy autolysis, oatmeal and biscuit, grapefruit and apple, then a lick of white peach. As the wine reaches 10 Celsius from a fridge cold 4 Celsius the bouquet becomes richer, more floral and more generous with warmer version of the aforementioned fruits. Crisp and dry, a backbone of acidity and definitive seam of leesy autolysis again frame the core flavours of cool climate fruit. Balanced and well made, lengthy and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2030.
