Neudorf 'Tom's Block' Moutere Pinot Noir 2024, Nelson

Tasted over 2 days this wine takes be back to Nelson and the vineyards where this wine originates. Aromas and flavours of ripe red berries and stony clay soils. Plum and red cherry, some boysenberry and delicate dried herb qualities are embellished by the ascents and flavours of lees and some judicious barrel use with a fine wood sweetness and youthful squeeze from the phenolics. Delicious, dry, new and needs some cellar time still. Best drinking from late 2027 through 2032+. Give this wine time it will reward you if you do.
