Askerne Single Vineyard Viognier 2024, Hawke's Bay

Floral, fruity, varietal and nicely complex bouquet with scents of apricots and spice, fresh pomaceous apple fruits and a clay mineral idea. Dry, creamy with a silky touch, medium+ acid line and length. As the wine opens out n glass the flavours intensity adding weight and length. Delicious and ready to drink from 2026 through 2029. Serve cool and definitely not cold, just to curb the warmth of alcohol on the finish.
