Scents of raspberry and blackcurrant lead to additional scents of peppercorn and barrel spices, a layer of smoke and clay earth ideas. Dry, firm with plenty of tannins and acidity along with oak frame the core fruit flavours. Balanced and well made with excellent drinking from day of purchase through 2030. Be sure to cool the bottle to around 13 degrees for service, this will allow the fruit to shine over the warmth of the alcohol. Also, this is a food wine with suggested pairing including salt crusted lamb or beef.
