There’s no mistaking where this wine originates in the Rhone Valley with a bouquet and palate of plush ripe red berry fruits, a silky mouthfeel and earthy baseline of granitic rocks and clay. Flavours of plums and red cherry, old rose with dried herb and hay, a soft sweet meat quality and a light wood spice and lees touch. FIne to moderate tannins, a touch of bacon and earth-smoke of stony soils lead to a balanced and even finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2031.
