Dunnolly Reserve Chardonnay 2025, North Canterbury

An excellent bouquet showcasing the scents of site and region with a limestone, chalky-clay quality then aromas of white peach and sweet citrus pith and lees wrapped in a light nutty wood-smoke complexity. Dry and full-bodied on the palate with a youthful frame of acidity and tannins, tautness and freshness of fruit. Well made with medium+ length. A wine to cellar and wait until the best drinking window opens - likely from mid to late 2028 through 2033.
