Dunnolly Pinot Noir 2025, North Canterbury

An excellent bouquet, fragrant and fresh, floral and fruity with scents of boysenberry and red cherry, lots of raspberry and rose, then a light baking spice and of wood and earth-smoke suggestion of clay. Pretty, lifted and enticing. On the palate a dry wine with a taut yet gentle texture from needle-point tannins and refreshing acidity. Flavours of red berries and zinger tea with a touch of rose follows delivering a varietal expression, youthful and new. Best drinking from 2028 through 2034.
