Quartz Reef Vintage Rosé 2021, Central Otago

A fabulous bouquet of fresh and preserved strawberries, there’s a red peach and exotic floral scents then a seam of autolysis suggesting sweet brioche and oatmeal. Very enticing and complex. On the palate a dry wine with a fine mousse and bibble, silky yet taut, saline and mineral with an overlay of red berries, rose and wild forest flowers. Delicious and saline, lengthy and fine, a wine to savour on its own and share - you must. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2031+.
