What some in the wine business call a ‘happy accident’ (a should have gone to spec savers moment) this mix of white varietal includes Petit Manseng, Riesling, Viognier and Chenin Blanc delivering a bouquet of bright and vibrant scents of tropical fruits and lime, a large bouquet of flowers then a mineral gentle saline silty soils effect. An off-dry expression though not sweet at all, there’s plenty of acidity and crunch framing the core flavours reflecting the bouquet. Balanced, well made and summer ready.
