Settlement 'Settlement Vineyard' Pinot Noir 2023, Marlborough

A bouquet of pinosity and power with a rush on ripe and rather intense dark cherry skin and boysenberry fruits, some darker spices from barrel and violets. Earth and wood-smoke scents combine to add intensity and power. On the palate another surge of pinosity with a firm texture from ripe tannins and acidity framing core flavours of alluvial silty loam-like soil flavours, smoky wood and dark berries that mirror the bouquet. Youthful and taut, a wine that will be best enjoyed from 2029 through 2034+.
