Pyramid Valley Kereru Road Chardonnay 2024, Hawke's Bay

An enticing bouquet of fruit purity and finesse, aroma sand flavours of crumbled stone and leesy complexities followed by fruit flavours of red apple and some peach. A wine of texture and freshness on the palate, no oak, so the purity of fruit and style must speak volumes, and they do. On the third and fourth taste the textures of fruit tannins begin to add volume to the palate. A wine I feel can develop some more with best drinking from late 2026 through 2029, perhaps longer. Chablisien in nature, a wine perfect for an aperitif or with delicate seafood dishes.
