Catalina Sounds 'Sound of White' Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024, Marlborough

Earth-smoke of hay and dried herbs, then aromas of lees and citrus, apple and cape gooseberry. There’s a frame of minerality and more lees as the wine begins to open out in glass. On the palate flavours mirror the bouquet with acidity and freshness, mineral and peach. Well made, some fleshy qualities and readiness to imbibe. Best drinking from 2025 through 2030.
