Ruru Cellar Door Selection Pinot Noir 2023, Central Otago

A slightly lighter weight expression with a firm focus on varietal signatures of cherry and plum then a stony mineral and savoury dried herb quality. A lovely finely textured mouthfeel with needle point tannins and saline acid line. As the wine opens out in glass a layer of strawberry and clove dust with a leesy quality begins to emerge. Well made, balanced and ready to drink from 2026 through 2029+.
