Made with 100% Barbera the bouquet is rich in scents of boysenberry and plum, there’s a natural ‘old school’ rustic mineral and earthy quality showing off what feels like limestone and clay then some leesy barrel complexities. Intriguing and new. On the palate a dry to very dry with with contrasting core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Deliciously taut and textured with firm tannins, ripe acidity and fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Lengthy, and delicious with best drinking from 2028, unless decanted, through to 2035.
