Clearview Estate Winery Three Rows Chardonnay 2024, Hawke's Bay

Easily one of my favourite Chardonnay expressions from Clearview. Winemaker Matt Kirby has captured the ripeness, edginess and textures that a Chardonnay can deliver if vineyard and winery details are paid careful attention. Natural flavours and textures of white peach and a mineral flinty qualities. Saline, some wood detail, earth-smoke and mineral all layer into the frame of complexity and mouthfeel. Well made with a lengthy finish. Best drinking from 2025 through 2030.
