Youthful and vibrant dark purple hues winemaker Matt Kirby has captured the essence of Cabernet with a bouquet of ripe and juicy blackberry flesh laced with scents of violet and fresh tobacco then baking spices of clove and nutmeg. Complex, youthful and new. On the palate a dry wine with plenty of weight, mouthfeel, texture and fruit. Firm tannins and plenty of acidity precede flavours of dark berries and spice then wood smoke and stony earth qualities. Well made, a wine that should be in your cellar ton age with best drinking from 2029 through 2038+.
