Fabulous colour and bouquet with scents of violets and rocks, smoky earth tones and blackberries, sweet tobacco and baking spices. Youthful and intriguing. On the palate a bold expression with a core of ripe blackberry and dark plum flavours laced with baking spices. Tannins and acidity are of equal power to the core fruit flavours challenging the palate for attention. A long finish with a firm tautness and palate squeeze, a wine to be cellared and enjoyed from 2039 through 2040.
