Clearview Estate Winery Beachhead Chardonnay 2024, Hawke's Bay

There’s no mistaking the style of this wine with a pure fruit drive laced with a sea-spray and orchard fruits core then layers of wood spice and acidity. Dry, weighty, ripe and pure fruited on the palate as well. Medium+ in weight, core fruit flavours reflect the bouquet with stone fruits and citrus, plenty of acidity for freshness and power and fine tannins for texture and length. There’s a hint of gun-flint with a stony earth quality. Well made with best drinking from late 2025 through 2030.
