Takapoto Estate Pinot Noir 2017, Central Otago

A fully developed appearance and bouquet with a fading red core and browning rim. The aromas are of a wine that has captured the scents of elegance and style with noted maturity and readiness. Dried cherry and plum, some raisin and spices from barrel and synergies in the bottle. Dry and perfectly balanced on the palate, fine integrated tannins with acidity still delivering some contrast and freshness. The dried fruit ideas on the nose show in the palate too. Well made and ready. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2026.
