Mount Four The Patriarch Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024, Marlborough

Varietal, very bright and new, aromas and flavours of dark plums and dark skinned cherry fruits. There’s layers of earth-spice and wood spice then a touch of smoke and baking spice layers. Youthful and nicely complex, a reflection of the region overall. Dry, well made, taut and needing some cellar time. Best drinking from 2027 through 2032.
