Fire Road Cabernet Merlot 2020, Hawke's Bay

A bouquet and palate of ripe red berry fruits from blackberry to blueberry then plum. Some fine r layers of baking spice and brown soils add breadth. A dry wine with a core of dark berry fruit flavours, very fine tannins and medium acid line. Balanced and well made with a moderate finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2028.
