Great colour and appearance. There’s no mistaking the bouquet of cabernet with this wine, scents of blackberry and blackcurrant then tobacco leaf, wood and earth-smoke of stone and clay. A dry wine with a firm youthful texture from tannins and acidity. Taut and poised, still developing with a decent palate squeeze. Well made and quite lengthy with best drinking from 2028 through 2034+.
