Matahiwi Estate Syrah 2024, Hawke's Bay

Excellent colour and brightness with a core of deep purple and ruby edges. Aromas and flavours pepper spice and dark berries, lots of raspberry and plum then black currant and layers of wood spice and earth. Firm tannisn with plenty of acidity for freshness and to carry the core fruit flavours that speak to the variety and Matahiwi style. Well made with development time necessary. Best drinking from late 2026 through 2032+.
