Excellent bouquet with power and richness, and concentration with vibrant scents of cape gooseberry and peach, lemon peel and grapefruit then yellow apple and sweet herbs suggestions. There’s a lees component adding richness and complexity. On the palate a satin-smooth texture touches first then contrasting acid acidity and fruit concentration. Hay and fresh herb layer, super fine fruit tannins and lees all frame core fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet. Well made, lengthy and delicious. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
