Excellent colour and concentration with a bouquet of blackcurrant, dried herb, a dusting of black pepper and wood smoke. The barrel spices release scents of clove and vanilla pod. A mudstone earthy quality adds complexity and intrigue. Delicious on the palate with core fruit and spice flavours reflecting the bouquet. An abundance of tannins showing a silky polish, backbone of acidity and delicious power prent a complete wine. Ready for drinking from day of purchase through 2034+.
